DescriptionA volume entitled `Rebecca Ridgeway Manuscript', compiled 1833. This is divided into sections and includes a `memorial to the pious life and peaceful close, of my dearly beloved mother, Elizabeth Ridgeway' who died 5 June 1833. The manuscript also contains material copied by Rebecca Ridgeway from her mother's papers relating to the latter's father, George Penrose of Waterford, an Elder, her mother, her husband, and her `Creator'. The manuscript also includes an account of `Margaret Ellis taken down from her own Mouth during her religious Visit to England in the Year 1752' and an account of a vision experienced in New England, 1734.
