Description | Late nineteenth century Account Book for business of Maurice Royayne, County Cork. It contains accounts for children's education, including the expenses of sending his daughter, Helen to the Ursuline Convent, Blackrock, County Cork. Inserted loosely in the book is a letter from Right Rev. Dr Browne, Bishop of Cloyne to Dr Hutch, 29 December 1895, relating to Mrs Alice Roynane's desire `to secure a permanent undisturbed resting place for her husband' within the enclosure of the parish church, a card signed Alice Roynane summarises this letter. The collection also includes a Cash Book belonging to Miss B Donovan in account with J S Coppinger, 1906-1910. |
