Includes transcriptions of her poems and a memoir edited by Martin McDermott entitled An Irish Poetess. The Poems and Letters of Ellen Mary Downing otherwise known as 'Mary of the Nation'. It would appear that the original poems and letters were in the possession of Sir Charles Gavan Duffy who sent them to Fr Russell so that they could be published, 66 items. |
