Description | 'The Irish Monthly' (1901-1923): 177 Card from E.C. Donnelly, Villa Marie, addressed to 'My Dear Mother' informing his mother of the death of a '...beloved young niece who died of Bright's Disease.' Refers to a book written by his mother and suggests that she get in touch with Fr Russell . 'He is the editor of the "Irish Monthly" - a lovely, genial scholarly literateur, deeply interested in the first efforts of authors -especially Religieuse. His magazine ranks high and his opinion carries great weight.' Concludes 'Tell him about your nephew - and his Jesuit heart will be enlisted in your cause', 18 July 1912, 1 item. |
