File relating to an United Ireland Party meeting at Bandon on 6 June 1934 at which a serious affray occurred, 1934.
Included in the file is a confidential police report by T. Keyes about the meeting. In this report it is stated that 'A crowd of about 600 persons were present at the meeting including about 35 men wearing 'blue-shirts' and 25 women wearing 'blue blouses'. The interuptions to the meeting were said to have been caused by five or six young men and 'a number of women who are members of the local IRA and Cumman na mBan respectively', June 1934.
