SH20 Correspondence, Letters etc., volume 1:
Margaret Stokes, Rome, 200 copies of part IV of her book on Irish inscriptions are missing and she asks him to look for them in Kilkenny or in Trinity College Dublin printing office. Asks him to ask Fr O'Hanlon to send her particulars about Irish missionaries, 9 December 1872.

Margaret Stokes, Howth, asking him to get Mrs Graves to get her husband to sign the [?] inscription without rereading it. It has been revised by others, 23 October 1879.

Maria Graves, Inisnag Glebe, concerning John Francis Shearman and purchase of manuscripts, June 1878.

Margaret Stokes, cannot find any church of Sta Symphoresa as requested. Aks him to speak about St Cathaldus and Tarentino to Fr O'Hanlon. Can't get into Vatican Library to see three Celtic manuscripts, 18 February 1879.

E Shearman, Bootle, widow of William Shearman asks for assistance towards 3 guinea fare, third class, to go to her daughter in Bordeaux, April 1882.

Maria Graves, Inisnag Glebe, regarding second half of ten pound note not arriving. Mr Graves of Annogh Castle, County Tipperary and is not well, 27 May [1878].
