Description | No 1 Lease of a slate house and walled garden near to New Street, Waterford by Samuel Penrose to William Marchant, dated 25 day of April 1758. Lease for 30 years for rent to £4.11.O per annum. This is numbered 'No 17' It also has a number of endorsements or extensions one to Edward Howis dated 1764 also that this was in trust for the Friends Meeting of the people called Quakers and assigned to (?) John Hutchinson, Joseph Jacob and Joshua Strangman dated 20 day of April 1764. Signatures and text of endorsements are sometimes difficult to read. |
