A letter of thanks to Mrs Young for subscribing £20, 8 July 1825.

A letter to Brother A Campbell, Cork, 'A case of greater difficulty than that of stationing you, the Conference has never met with. The fact was they knew not where to send you that you would do least harm. ...And the design of this communication is to say, that unless there be in the ensuing year a manifest improvement in the conduct of your wife and in your own diligence, and faithfulness the Conference will be no more troubled with appointing you a station: for they are determined to adopt decisive measures, which will be likely to issue in your expulsion', 13 July 1825.

A letter to Miss Smith, Donaghadee, County Down, 'The Methodist Conference have unanimously requested us to present to you their most cordial and affectionate thanks for the recent proofs of your kindness to our connexion, in the erection of a dwelling for our preacher in Donaghadee; and for your many former evidences of regard for the interests of religion amongst us', 7 July 1826.
