Typescript copy of notes regarding the emigration of nearly 200 families, representing an entire Presbyterian congregation, from the Monaghan area to New York as a result of the imprisonment of Revd. Thomas Clarke, 10 May 1764. Also included is genealogical information on some of the families involved.
Some of the information listed from this repository has been extracted from lists available in the
archives. The lists were compiled by Public Record Office of Northern Ireland staff and we are
grateful for their assistance. It must be remembered that due to time constraints not all items in this
repository were examined individually.
