| Description | Women's Meeting: Epistles and minutes, 1841-1881. Volume contains list of representatives from Ulster, Munster and Leinster in attendance at the Yearly Meeting of Women Friends held in May of each year, 1841 to 1881. Also contains the minutes of each meeting which deals with a variety of subjects. The election of representatives from each province, certificates of monthly meetings from friends around the world, the meeting of the general committee, comments on epistles which were read to the meeting and formulaic queries and answers. Each annual meeting continues over several days. The minutes are formulaic, discussing similar issues and communications from friends regarding observations made by visiting friends and details from epistles. Some of the meetings are attended by deputations from the Men's Meeting, 1 volume. |
