| Description | Women's Meeting County Wexford copy of Minutes of the Leinster Province, 1885-1899 with gaps occurring in 1896, 1898 and 1899. Minutes include lists of representatives from Monthly Meetings in Moate, Mountmellick, Carlow, County Wexford and Dublin. 'Certificates' from Monthly Meetings are received regarding individuals who are on visits or wish to work among members. The queries and answers from each of the Province's Monthly Meetings were read and general answers abstracted for the Yearly Meeting. Epistles from the Yearly Meetings read. References are made to reports which were read to the meeting on spiritual instruction, mission work and the sale of intoxicating drinks. Report concerning schools states that 'In consequence of the school of Newtown and Mountmellick being [?] The school is now managed by a committee of friends appointed in Dublin at our last quarterly meeting'. This volume of minutes is quite brief and does not contain much detail regarding the contents of epistles, etc. |
