DescriptionA collection of 104 documents relating to the Goff family, 1691-c1873. A detailed calendar of these papers is available and the collection includes, for example:
Correspondence of Elizabeth Goff and her family and gives detailed descriptions of Quaker family life, religious meetings and descriptions of visits to other 'Friends' in Ireland and England. For example, a letter from Mary Watson, London to Jacob and Elizabeth Goff, Wexford, notes 'in this awfully alarming crisis, when you are surrounded with occasions of terror, and conflict, and exposed I fear to many dangers', 10 June 1798.

Manuscript obituary for Hannah Lecky, of Ballykealy, County Carlow, 28 September 1822.

A letter from Ann Foster, Worcestershire to D W Goff giving an account of the premature death of her baby son and the death of her daughter, 6 March 1830.

A letter from Elizabeth Goff to 'John', giving spiritual advice and stating that she hopes he will abandon 'those friendships and pleasures that thou hast suffered thy self to be led into', no date, c1800.
