| Description | This collection of c1660 documents and 12 volumes relates to the Owens, Orr and Orr-Owens families of Holestone, County Antrim. A detailed calendar of these papers is available. The collection also includes, for example: 12 volumes of out-letter books of L'Estrange and Brett Solicitors, Belfast, 1904-1933. These books include estate papers, marriage settlements, leases, legal and financial papers, a copy of petition for divorce of Mary Elizabeth Orr, Belfast, 1902, costs for assignment of judgements against Letitia Maxwell, 1845 and numerous documents of title and various trusts, including that of Emily and Charlotte Orr, 1891-1908. |
