| Description | Women's Meeting: Minutes 1824-1896, two volumes. Volume 1 Waterford Quarterly Meeting Book for the Munster Quarterly Meeting, 1824-1864. Minutes contain the lists of representatives attending the Quarterly Meeting, from the Monthly Meetings held in the province in Cork, County Tipperary, Waterford, Limerick and Youghal. At each meeting, the proceedings of the previous meeting and the queries and answers received from the Monthly Meetings are read. References are made to the epistles received from the Women's Yearly Meeting held in Dublin, New York, etc., visits from friends, with certificates liberating them from religious duty to enable them to visit the Quarterly meeting and requests made by the Men's Quarterly Meeting of the Women's Quarterly meeting. Appointments are also made to the committees for the management of the Provincial school. Communications from Men's Quarterly Meetings and certain administrative details. The volume of minutes are formulaic and contains very little detailed information. Volume 2 Waterford Quarterly Meeting Book for the Munster Quarterly Meeting, 1864-1896. Minutes are of the same quality as Volume 1. They also contain information regarding the appointment of ministers in the province and the selection of representatives to attend the Yearly Meetings. |
