Letter from Mrs Mary Grehan, Wogan's Shop, to her husband, George, concerning family news, mostly related to health, no date, with a second letter, 1858, recounting an incident that day when the child's nurse came down to her at a quarter to two and reported that the child was neither washed nor dressed as the nurse's tender had refused to do so. On her mother's advice the nurse's tender was sacked with her wages and of £3.30.0 and an extra/10 as notice. She gives details of the child's health and the visit of her parents and the expectation of further visitors.
