Description | Ware Household Book [James Ware, grandson of Sir James Ware, historian], 1728-1781, includes, among other things, tradesmen's and workmen's wages for work on the house of his tenant, Mrs Grace Evans, St Stephen's Green, 1757-1758, includes income from rental roll, interest on loans to named individuals, notes on servants wages, with comments on their character, service and reasons for discharge, 1764-1779, and for the servants of Captain John Weller, for whom Ware seems to have acted as an agent. |
