DescriptionA collection of letters and other papers relating to the public and private affairs of Sir John Newport (1756-1843), Irish politician, banker and landowner. The main bulk of the collection consists of correspondence, arranged chronologically. Other papers include details of financial affairs, receipts for payment, etc. Among the correspondents are:
