14 emigrant letters from Edmund Letson in Canada and the United States to his parents in Glenavy, County Antrim, 1863-1872. For example, 'Dear Mother you will feel sorry no doubt about my going away especially without telling you. The reason for me not telling you was this. Had I have told you I could not have bore the final parting from you', 25 November 1863.
