K.OL.28/1 A newspaper cutting on the Sisters of Mercy obtaining Bedeque House, Crumlin Road, Belfast, which was to 'be devoted to the purposes of an hospital for the poor and infirm...there will be no exclusion for sects or classes. ...Within the limits of its capacitate the only passport for admission will be that of bodily affliction. ...The good work done by the Sisters of Mercy is fully appreciated, wherever it is known. They are, par excellence, the comforters of the sick', 1 November 1883.
