Microfilmed copies of c.60 volumes of records of Belfast Charitable Society, established in 1751 as a poorhouse and hospital, but also carrying out philanthropic and medical functions. The collection includes, for example:

Reel 11 Microfilmed copy of 2 volumes of proceedings of the General Board of Belfast Charitable Society, 1828-1889, 1890-1955.

Reel 12 Microfilmed copies of 3 volumes of Reports of Belfast Charitable Society, 1827-1864, 1890-1915, 1893-1904; charity sermons, 1822-1831; the duties of schoolmaster, schoolmistress and steward, 1862.

Reel13 Microfilmed copy of Belfast Charitable Society Committee Book, 1827-1837 and Belfast Charitable Society Ladies' Committee Book, 1837-1851.

Reel 14 Microfilmed copies of Resolutions of Belfast Charitable Society, 1774-1829; Belfast Charitable Society Committee Books, 1888-1902, 1916-1931.
