MSS45 Bound volume of 43 miscellaneous letters, 1720-c1874. This volume includes for example:
A letter from Revd. John Wesley in London, which notes: 'Mrs. Bl. on her return will give you all the particulars of the accident which occasion my sudden return to London', no date.

A letter from James Shaw to Mr Witherow, mentioning the death of Mr Maxwell: 'Mrs Shaw had the opportunity of being a good deal with him before he died. She feels his loss very acutely, as indeed she well may, for he was the kindest of fathers...our Meg has hooping (sic) cough but it is not very severe, and I hope the change to Bangor at this stage will cure her', 20 August 1874.

MSS46 Bound volume of correspondence by Thomas Steward mainly relating to the dissenting interest in Ireland, 1699-1749. This correspondence includes for example:
A letter from Thomas Steward in Dublin to his mother, referring to her health, his poor spirits and financial state: 'when I am gone...and my poor wife is like to be left in a much worse condition than you are in at present, for God knows I have not a hundred pounds to leave her...I think you cannot reasonably desire or expect that I should send money from hence', 28 April 1708.
