Transcript copy of a letter from Honourable Katherine Southwell, Downpatrick, County Down, to her son, Edward at Eton in which she describes a journey from Kilkenny to Downpatrick, County Down, with particular reference to Lord Limerick's linen factory at Dundalk and the almshouses and schools 'your Pappa has built' at Downpatrick, 1749.
