Bound volume of copies of c.20 letters from Mary Cuming, Petersburg, Virginia, to her sister, Margaret Craig, and her mother and father, Revd. Craig, Lisburn, County Antrim, referring to her emigrant voyage, first impressions of America and the outbreak of the Anglo-American war in 1812, 1811-1825. Typed extracts from these letters are included in the calendar of this collection.
