Copy of a letter from Mrs Helena Stothard, Dromure to Sir John Rawdon, London referring to local affairs and reporting that the grain shortage was severe in Ireland, 1743.

Copy of a letter of sympathy from the Earl of Huntington to his sister the Countess of Moira, 1763.

Copy of a letter from the Honourable John Rawdon in Vienna to his mother, the Countess of Moira, 1775.

Copies of 11 letters from Lady Jane Courtenay, Bath and Southampton to her son, Conway, 1771-1774 referring, for instance, to the 'scandalous match' made between Mr Long and 'Linley's singing daughter', 1771 and to the elopement of Sheridan and Miss Linley, 1772.

Copies of 3 letters from Lady Sophia Egerton, London, to the Countess of Moira, reporting on social affairs and parliamentary matters, 1765 and 1775.

Copies of 2 letters from evangelist, George Whitfield to the Countess of Huntingdon, recounting the number of people who have been converted, 1750. In another letter he states that he hopes the Countess will continue 'to win souls to the blesses Jesus' and promises to pray daily for her work, no date, c.1749-1750.

Copies of 2 letters referring to the murder of Miss Knox by McNaghten near Stabane in 1761.

Copy of a letter referring to a 'desperate battle' at Bath between Mrs Orme and 'a Lady in Mr. Plomer's interest', 1769.

Copies of 2 letters from Lady Granard on a tour of France and Germany, to her mother, the Countess of Moira and to the Earl of Moira, 1785-1786.

Copy of a poem by Lord Erkine, 'To the Duchess of York written Impromptu on receiving from her Royal Highness a lock of the late Charles Fox's hair', 1811.

Copy of a letter giving a critical account of Frederick, Duke of Swabia written by a 'lady of high rank about the Court', 1797 [the original of this document is available in the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland, see D/2924/1].
