| Description | Schools and Education: Proceedings of the Committee appointed in the Province of Leinster, to the care and direction of the Provincial School in said Province', 1704-1801 (Mountmellick Provincial School) Committee established 'to deliberate on the suitable means of supplying deficiency which appears in some places with respect to the education of the children of friends in low circumstances'. Minutes contain details regarding the establishment of the school, finances, appointment of committee members, rules and regulations, subscriptions, etc. At the back of the volume are the 'Orders for the Governor and Governess of the School, Rules for the Local Committee, Orders for Schoolmaster and Schoolmistress, Rules for Admission, Removal, etc., Bill of Fare and Directions for Marking Boys and Girls Clothing'. Women are involved in the Committee, 1 volume. |
