| Description | Schools and Education: Box File containing: Camden Street School Treasurers' Account Book and Deed of Assignment of Premises, 1840-1847. This is a small leather book containing accounts of the school for each month, detailing what would appear to be subscriptions received from Friends, general accounts, etc. Large bundle of letters of the Trustees of Camden Street School and Mountmellick Provincial School relating to the winding down of the schools. Contained in the bundle are lists of deeds and papers relating to the house, communications with solicitors and banks, etc., relating to the winding up of the School Indenture belonging to Camden Street School, 1847 Five small leather bound books concerned with Mountmellick Provincial School and their account with the Governors and Company of the Bank of Ireland, 1893-1921 Doctor's Book of the Medical Attendant of Mountmellick Provincial School, Dr H Coly, contains details of procedure carried out on male and female patients who attended the school, 1834-1853 Proceedings of the Mountmellick Scholars Steady Readers Association, 1876-1879. Details list of rules and those involved, male and female, in the association Notebook containing lists of male and female students, who were in attendance at Mountmellick School, 1785-1877 Small notebook containing Reports of the Sub-Committees appointed to examine the education of the students at Mountmellick School, 1868-1871 Richard Allen's Arithmetic Book, October 1814 Volume containing tables of the average number of students attending Mountmellick School, 1829-1837. Volume also contains lists of children admitted to the school in each month, fees paid and date the student was withdrawn from the school Notebook possibly containing lists of Mountmellick School library books on loan to students, c19th century. |
