This collection of c.24 documents have been copied from the Department of History of the University of Manchester. The collection includes, for example:
T/2035/1 Copy of an emigrant letter from Patrick Lavin, Connecticut, United States, to his son and daughter, 8 November 1855.

T/2035/4; T/2035/11-12 3 letters from R Staunton, Belfast, to his mother and sisters in Glasgow, 8 March 1841, 27 September 1854 and c.1856.

T/2035/7; T/2035/9-10; T/2035/13 4 letters from Moses Staunton, Preston and Toronto, to his mother in Glasgow, 1844-1845.

T/2035/16-17 2 letters from R Staunton, Liverpool, to Mary Anne, referring to the health of Moses Staunton, 1875 and 1877.

T/2035/23 9 emigrant letters between Michael Murphy and 'Nora' concerning relatives, family news and correspondence about the McCullagh family in New York and the Murphys in County Down, referring to their lives and positions in America and acquaintances in Ireland, c.1927-c.1953.
