At the back of the volume there are lists of students admitted, their dates of birth and date of entrance to the school, 1 volume QM1/H7 Proceedings of the Committee for Conducting Leinster Provincial School, Mountmellick, 1802-1827 and 1828-1835. Two volumes of very detailed minutes regarding school expenses, reports by visiting committees, admission to the school, subscriptions, etc. Involvement of women friends would appear to be very significant, 2 volume QM1/H8 Proceedings of the Committee for Conducting Leinster Provincial School (Mountmellick School), 1814- [?] Minutes contains reports from Superintendents relating to the numbers of children in the school, vacancies, number of children ill, details of those admitted, record of a decision to give preference to children of Friends who are less affluent, tickets of admission, appointment of Treasurers, trustees, committees of men and women friends to examine proficiency of students learning, etc., 1 volume QMI/H9 Proceedings of the Committee for Conducting Leinster Provincial School, 1816-1855. Two volumes of Superintendent's reports relating to the number of children in the Mountmellick Provincial School, number of students waiting for admission; representatives from Leinster Monthly Meetings attending each meeting, rules of admission to the school, subscriptions raised, appointment of staff and reports by committees of male and female friends appointed to examine the proficiency of the boy and girl students, 2 volumes. |
