This collection of 21 documents consists of copies of emigrant letters of the Crawford families in Ohio, United States and Ontario, Canada to their relatives and friends in Ballymena, County Antrim, 1860-1905. The collection includes, for example:
T/2338/2 Copy of a letter from Gamble Crawford, Ohio, to his mother referring to harvesting and the war in the north of the country, 18 August 1862.

T/2338/4-6 Copies of 3 letters from 'Emma', Ontario to her cousin Nancy, Ballymena, County Antrim, giving family news, 14 March and 13 June 1870 and 7 January 1874.

T/2338/8 Copy of a letter from 'Jane', Old Mill to her aunt, informing her of the death of a friend, 21 August 1878.
