Description

Copy of a letter from S. Connor and Sons, Chemists in Newry to Mrs Leavy of Castleblaney which states:
'We regret very much to know that owing to the present political situation, you find yourself unable to do business with us.
We sincerely hope that this is only temporary and that when things become normal we shall again have the pleasure of continuing that friendly business relationship which has so long existed between us.
We have always tried to conduct our business, free from any political associations, and if anything has occurred in this connection to give offence to the customers we can assure you we are entirely ignorant of it', 19 December 1921.
