Collection Description | Material relating to Eva Gore-Booth, poet, mystic, trade unionist, and suffragist. The sister of Constance Markiewicz, Gore Booth settled in Manchester with her partner, Esther Roper, and became active as a social campaigner in the city, particularly on issues concerning women. She also wrote poetry and ran poetry and drama groups for women workers. |
