Description | The bulk of the collection consists of theatre programmes, posters, photographs, press cuttings, scripts and memorabilia relates to the Abbey. The tours of North America from the 1930s are documented, and there is an unfinished memoir by May Craig (relating to the first production of 'The Playboy of the Western World', and the American tours). There is also material for the Queen's, Empire, Royal and Gaiety Theatres and others. Photograph of the pencil portrait of May Craig by Adelaid Hancock. There are 237 items in total. |
