Collection of c.2,500 photographs relating to the city of Derry and the surrounding area, 1870s-1960s. A card index to this collection is available.

The following is a selection of some of the photographs contained in this collection:

James Glass' photographic collection recording rural life in West Donegal, especially living conditions and farming methods, 1870s.

Photographs of women at work in Derry shirt factories, such as the Hogg and Mitchell's Factory, Margetson Welsh Factory, Lloyd's Factory, Atlee and Smith's Factory, Tillie and Henderson's Factory, the City Factory and Lyttle's Factory, c.1940s-c1960s.
